Hello, I'm wanting to learn a new handwriting font. Can you please tell me a source what I could go onto?
I'd like quite a basic font but not to basic and I'd also like it cursive.
Thank you for those who are replying!

Try these:

What's the name of this script/font? I've been more or less using it, but I'm still uncertain as to what it's called.

Lateinische Ausgangsschrift
Renzhe
Are you sure that's not Lateinische Ausgangsschrift?

I am sure you are right, as usual my "a" is out of line! In my haste to reply, I simply copied the title of the jpg file. So a misplaced letter or a lack of a space does not surprise me.

EEEEEEEEEK! The D'Nealian looks an awful lot like the Palmer Method stuff they tried (unsuccesfully) to beat into me in grade school. So many horrible memories...flooding back...all those weird curlicues and loops....

I need to go lay down for a moment, gentlefolks. Ah's got me a case of the vapors.

D'Nealian was en vogue when I was in elementary school, and none of the people I grew up with have good handwriting. Run away!!!

The lowercase characters of D'Nealian look about like what I was taught in a small Illinois town around 1970, but the uppercase have been stripped of the flourishes I remember, with a few exceptions like the "G". (That "G" never has seemed quite right to me. And the "Q"...well.)

My mother had beautiful handwriting, and she joked about the trials of the Palmer method. But samples of Palmer-method script I've seen here usually look more like mine (was supposed to) than like hers.

One bit of closure I've achieved using fountain pens is the realization that the techniques they tried to teach me work pretty well with a nibbed pen; with a ballpoint, not so much.
