Hi all,
Me and my wife had our 2nd anniversary, so I'm getting a new pen.
My current collection includes:
Parker 51
Sailor sparrow
Aurora optima
Pelikan m600
My Q is, what next? I thought of 3 options so far: 21K nib sailor, namiki vanishing point or a "new old stock" Parker 51.
What do you think which one?
Any other suggestions?
Best regards
Shimon

Personally, a nice Over sized Sheaffer's Balance would be my choice.

A sailor 1911 is nice. An Omas as well. It depends what you prefer regarding shape, material, size, smoothness, colour etc.

Mazal Tov leha veleishteha.

It is my experiance Sailor nibs are super smooth but lack in feeling and feedback so ask yourself if you want your pen to be ultra smooth or very smooth with feedback.
Namiki VP is a pen that aint for everybody.I had one and after 2 months I decided to sell it.The tiny amount of ink is a pain.I write very very little and I still had to fill it everyday.
Parker 51 is a great pen but if you dicide to go for one go for a pen with a M nib.

What would I suggest ?
How about Lamy 2000 ?
Amazing pen,super smooth nib but with excellent feedback,piston filler,light weight,well balanced,not expensive.
If you want to go vintage how about Parker 75.

First of all thanks for your answers.
I'm looking for aXF pen (I have a tiny hand write) that is smooth and good looking (I know that it's subjective). I don't mind having a small amount of ink.
Thanks again

The new colours in the Visconti Van Gogh range look very nice...

In that case, a Japanese one is one of the best. A Sailor or Nakaya promises you to be extra fine and smooth, although that's a paradox imo.
