Ok, I'll start

I was at the Portland Pen Show in mid-July and I was looking for an Eversharp CA Fifth Avenue ballpoint in navy blue or burgundy. I already had the black and green versions so I was looking for something in one of the other colours. I found one in navy blue (or was it burgundy?) with a brushed silvery metal cap that I was all set to buy, when I spotted what I thought was an Eversharp Skyline fountain pen. I took a closer look at it and discovered that it was, in fact, a vintage Skyline
ballpoint.
I asked the seller (Stuart Hawkinson, a very nice fellow) if it could be converted to take a Parker Gel (ie. modern) refill and he said yes, he could do it, but that he'd have to take it back to his shop and work on it. I paid Stuart for the pen and the cost of the conversion and left the pen with him. Two weeks later, I got the pen in the mail. It is a smaller Skyline (13 cm long capped) with a dubonnet (burgundy) barrel and a lovely red-and-golden-striped cap that has now been brought "back to life" by Stuart's handiwork

I don't have a photo of it, but it's like
this one on Jim Mamoulide's great pen website. It has a couple of very shallow pinpoint 'dings' and a teensy bit of brassing on the clip but other than that, it looks almost mint.
