I accidentally dropped my Aurora Optima today while the cap was posted onto the back of the pen's barrel. The nib and such are fine but the cap is now stuck. I can't get it off the barrel, even after running just a bit of warm water around the area where cap lip meets pen barrel. I'm afraid that if I use too much force, I might break the clip or damage the pen's finish. Anyone know if there's another way to get the cap off? My guess is that when the posted pen hit the carpet, the capped part struck that and the impact jammed it onto the pen barrel. I've contacted Aurora and the vendor but in the meantime, I thought someone here might have some advice
