When I fill my Imperials' converters, or when I use them to flush the pens, ink wells out of the pressure bar cutout. I think that the sac must have detached from the nipple, if there is one.

I haven't tried to pry the sac protector from the plastic gasket that goes into the section, because the dimples in the protector might break the gasket.

One of the protectors has a round cutout at the end; the others are solid metal.

If the solution is to buy a replacement from PenHero, that's OK, but I hope I can resuscitate the converters with your advice.
