I've been reading the boards for a few months, ever since the fountain pen fever came back after about a year of remission. So I had to clean out my M405 that got dried out sitting in its case on a shelf.
Noodler's black has revived that pen, and the nib is smoother than ever.It all started when a collector got me hooked about six years ago by sending me a Pelikan, the M100 (not the vintage 100, but the modern variety, black with ST). Then I had to have another one just like it, and bought one on e-bay that turned out to have a broken piston.
But then I kept buying other pels that 'looked' like that original pen that started it for me. The small collection branched out a bit from there, and I had a fit of Lamy Safari fever this summer.
So I just wanted to say Hi. Thanks for all the information posted all over these boards.
