I was gifted with a lovely little Welsharp that globs ink from the line between the feed and the nib, only on one side. I'm thinking the plastic of the feeds warped there somehow which is why ink pools from this one side and messes up my writing. I read that sometimes you can dump nib and feed section in boiling water to get the plastic malleable enough, then press the gaping bit back into place. Anyone have experience with this?
As an alternative, is it possible to get a replacement nib for this pen? I haven't had any luck Googling for a replacement but maybe another manufacturer's nib would fit a Welsharp? I really love this plucky little pen and hate to see it go to waste. Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated.
