All I know before I have this in my hands is Black with Sterling Silver Cap. I assume its the Pre 2005 Paragon in terms of size. Its reported to have a M nib and I assume that would mean 18k? And, from John Mottishaw's site it appears to have the same stroke (.65mm) as my OM Pelikan.

What more can you tell me about this pen? Price new? Current market value?

Thanks

I have the identical pen that I bought off the 'bay from someone in the Pacific NW about 10 or 12 years ago. IIRC it was my first Omas. Part of their regular Mezzo collection back then. Vegetal resin. Think mine has a ebonite feed, will have to look and see. Nice pen, don't see them very often on the used market so a price would be difficult to come by. My SWAG would be in the 300-400 range if it is used in good condition. I emphasize this is soley a SWAG and may not have any bearing in reality.

It's a pre-2005 Omas. Hard to tell whether it has a Bock or Omas nib. BTW, it seems you could adjust the tines for a finer line (if you like that, that it).

That is the same model I have (new in box). I do not have the nib size handy since I am at work, but I will take photos and PM you. It is definitely pre-2005 since it had been in a moving box since 2004 and purchased sometime in 2003.

I bought one of these on eBay 2 years ago for $250; medium nib, great writer.

Deal of a lifetime! Lucky you! I have had a few deals like that too on various things. My best was getting an item (a limited edition snare drum) that normally went for $1200 for $199 Buy-It-Now. The seller had a crappy photo and I took a chance. I got the think unused and still in original box with papers. Unfortunately, those moments are few and far between, but still happen.
