First time on the forum. I was given a Parker pen when I was a child, by my aunt. It has been in a drawer ever since. I got it out and decided to see what I could find out about it. I posted on the Parker forum. So I hope someone can identify it. My aunt thought it was special and I had never seen one with a sterling silver overlay. It is truly a beautiful pen. I have never been one not to appreciate older collectible items. Guess that's because I am getting to be an antique myself. I will have to dig through my other stuff and find the quill pen that my grandmother and father signed their marriage license. If I can find it I will post a picture of it. I had no idea how popular pen collecting was until I came across this site. Thanks for sharing the information with "newbies".

Hi HjRich,

Welcome to the FPN. A Parker is an excellent pen to own. I have quite a few in my collection and I love them all.

Welcome to FPN HJrich!!!!

I havent looked at you rpost on the Parker forum yet, but, I bet youhave a nice pen. Parkers are my most favourite pen brand- I grew up in India, where having an American made Parker pen was considered something special.
I'd like to get a couple of vintage Parker Vacumatic Maxima pens soon.

Hello and welcome to FPN. Kick off your shoes and have a stroll around the grounds. There is lots of good information as well as people willing to share information. Heck you might even pick up a pen or two at the Marketplace.

Once again welcome.
