looking for a small throw around FP for use in my Allan's journal. So far, I love this pen. It is
quite small, fitting nicely in my bag's pocket and is alway shandy. The design is interesting. The cap is
nearly the same length as the body, so for proper balance, you must "post" it. I put post in
quotation marks, as really the pen is designed to work this way. It actually feels quite
substantial for its size. Much more so than any of the other chinese pens I have tried.
The nib is very fine, like most chinese pens and surprisingly smooth. HOwever, I have found that for the best writing
you have to keep the angle in that "sweet spot". Also, this pen tends to dry out
relatively quickly, at least compared my other pens. You can leave it uncapped
for 30 seconds, but a minute could be pushing it.
Attached are two images for size comparisons one capped on top of my Allan's journal
and the other posted next to a Rhodia 5x5 no 11 (that means it is 7.4 x 10.5cm or 2.9 x 4.1 in).
The ink I use it the Abraxas light grey, as I find it behaves well in this pen and looks great in my
journal.

Overall, I would recommend this pen for anyone looking for a 15$ writer. I do caution that one should
write with it first. I saw quite a few before I chose this one.
