Which PR colors turn brown or change color after a while? I know Orange crush does. blink.gif

[Did I put this in the wrong place?]

Hi Slush,

This topic seems to fit the Inky Thoughts better, so I moved it for you.

One of the PR colours mentioned earlier in a different topic, that turned brown, was PR Orange Crush. I don't know about any other PR colours, so someone else will have to chime in here.

HTH, warm regards, Wim

Thanks.

I really want to know, because someone told me PR Plum turns brown after a while. sad.gif I like PR Plum's color.

I've had a bottle of Private Reserve Plum for over a year, and it's still vividly colored. Two bottles each of Black Cherry and Burgundy Mist, however, have turned brownish-black over the course of a year. (I haven't bought either color since then, but the bottles are still brownish-black.)

I think you can trust in the Plum.

Whew, what a relief. smile.gif

Thanks Velma. My orange crush turned red-brown.

Yep, Plum is good. Burgundy Mist is bad. After my BM turned brown, I added purple and red to make it burgundy again, then it was brown AGAIN after a couple months.

I heard Copper Burst does it too (maybe I am wrong). I am sure somebody else will comment on any others. My personal experience is only with the Burgundy Mist. More like Gorillas in the Mist.

Yes. Now I need some Plum biggrin.gif

I wonder why they do that. Does anyone know?

Ha! That's very true. laugh.gif They make some very nice vibrant inks but the PR Burgundy Mist really flattens out.

Well drag. Does anyone know of a color LIKE burgundy mist that doesn't super brown out? (I don't mind a little brown. I like a touch of brown in brugundy. I just don't want completely brown.)
