Omas T2 LE. Got this one off the 'bay a number of years ago. Much heavier than a traditional 557f but that is just fine by me. Watch is an older style IWC Aquatimer in titanium.

My favourite material. Lovely pen.

Ooooooooooooooooooh.

The Omas T2 (regular edition, not the LE) was the first "expensive" pen I ever wanted to purchase. There was only one local store which had the last one in stock (for $1000!) and I was lucky enough to be able to dip test it. Love at first letter it was, but way out of my price range (I was in first year university and worked for a casual rate of $7.60/h for about 5 hours a week crybaby.gif ). By the time I did have enough money for it, the pen had flown out the door perhaps a fortnight before my enquiry sad.gif (So obviously to compensate, I went and bought a Dupont Shaman bunny01.gif )

Anyway, those very very sad, sentimental memories aside, I loooooove the Omas T2. Lovely, lovely pen, beautiful material and what a stunning colour it is... cloud9.gif

Edit: Nice watch too!

Excellent choice! My favorite material too. My pen is obviously not italian--can't afford the hefty price of T2 when it was released. But there is certainly Ti! Titanium fountain pen inked with PR midnight blue....

Nice GST Aquatimer. Almost got that but took the Alarm instead.

Don't know about Titanium bodies, but I am a huge fan of Titanium nibs (Emotica).

Wow, two very sharp looking pen and watch combinations, guys - thanks for sharing those!

Titanium barrels are one thing, it's titanium nibs that don't do it for me. Strange, huh?

I bought a Porsche Design pen similar to yours many years ago at the little gift shop at the Arizona Biltmore. The pen was loose in a box with other pens. I got it, mine is steel with a black finish and a medium nib, along with a Lamy ball point and something else, I fail to remember. They were clearing these loose pens out and IIRC I paid $10.00 each for the pens I got. My closest brush with sugami-ism. Love your Porsche Design watch, almost traded for one earlier this year.

Thanks for your compliments! Your Aquatimer is truly beautiful too. But having worn both the GST and Ocean, I think the Ocean bracelet snares the hairs on my arm less!

Wow, the $10 you paid must be one of the best price to quality ratio ever. The Faber-Castell fountain pen is one of the best pens I have, though I overpaid for it, like most of the PD objects I fancy.

The next to try on my list is either a Lamy Studio or a 2000. I have not tried Lamys before beyond the Safaris...

Do you know where I can still gawk at, and perhaps purchase a 360 T2? Are those LE? They look awfully beautiful but I don't see them around anywhere.

I have an Omas T2 (the non-limited edition) and I love it. I probably overpaid when I bought it but I cherish the pen very much, especially since it not only has a titanium body but also a titanium nib. thumbup.gif

I have never seen the 360 T2 in person. As I understand it, there full run of these pens was not made because of the extreme difficulty in working with the titanium, trying to achieve the 360 design. IIRC I saw one of the 360 titaniums with diamonds posted somewhere for $10,000!!!!!

Stock image shamelessly lifted from a web dealer.

bugm, thanks for sharing this! I didn't even know that there was a 360 in titanium.
