Hello everyone. I just got my first J pen (a green transitional) with a 9668. I'm enjoying it quite a bit but would like to do a 180 and try out a 9128. I've only seen them for 50 dollars BIN on ebay though. Does anyone on this forum offer one for cheaper than that? I know there is a want to buy section but I thought I'd have better luck here. Thanks very much in advance.

No affiliation, but you might check with Fred Krinke at the Fountain Pen Shop in Monrovia. I got a 9128 from him. It was less than $50 for sure, but can't remember what, since it was part of a larger order. He is a reputable dealer, and I think he has one in stock. See info below.
Best,
Mars

Have you tried Karl at www.pointythings.com (no affiliation)?

I got a 9284 from him recently at a very reasonable price.
