I am looking at purchasing a Sailor KOP and was wondering what Sailor's policy/pricing was on nib exchanges. The pen will probably come with a medium or broad nib and would like to switch it out for one of their specialty nibs. Just wondering if anyone had experience with this.
Thanks in advance.

Based upon my experience with Sailor 1911 pens, I believe you will have to purchase the pen and nib together. At the DC pen show, the Sailor representative told me you can't purchase a nib and section separate from the pen. Not sure if that is also true of the KOP. Also, the specialty nibs are considerably more expensive than the standard EF, F, M, or B nibs, so the nibs couldn't be swapped on a simple exchange basis. The only Sailor-sanctioned nib swap I'm aware of is if your nib happens to be defective.

How about the Custom 74? Can Nib replacements be gotten?
I have next to no info on the pens I have so I may end up asking weird questions now and again...
