Hello All, I have been a fountain pen fan all my life and have always enjoyed the Parker experience. I have a Parker Sonnet, Place Vendome and a vintage Parker 75 that is my favorite. I use it every day. I also have a Snorkel that I use once in a while. I sometimes write nonsense on a piece of paper just because I like to see the ink go onto the paper. My next pen may be a Pelikan, but I'm supposed to stimulate the American economy, not Germany's. ParkerFan

Welcome. I also have a Place Vendome Fountain pen and I love it! I actually bought it some 20 years ago in the men's department of Lord and Taylor's believe it or not! It's a wonderful pen.

Pelikan makes a great product which is why they're so popular. I have many and I love every single one of them. They also have great customer service.

I've almost always had a Parker Duofold or Sonnet as my "best" pen. In the last few weeks I bought a Pelikan and a Sailor. Either will be a wonderful writer (dare I say an improvement on the Parker? I found it so). I heartily recommend stimulating the Japanese economy. I love my Sailor.
