I am just clearing out my office to move to a new job elsewhere and found an old Osmiroid 65 in my filing cabinet that must have been sitting there about 12 years or so. I pulled the lever, filled it with some Parker blue ink and it just worked.

It's a calligraphy nib on it, a flat tip a couple mm wide but it's actually a really nice writer. It's kind of rough and ready looking but I'm really enjoying it as a regular pen for everyday.

I just bought a Mont blanc 149 and also have a Waterman Phileas and a Cross Aventura (which I like as well). Nice to have this thing drop of nowhere and be so pleasant to write with.

I have an old Osmiroid 65 that I use with a medium italic nib and Noodler's Walnut for writing addresses on envelopes. It is a real workhorse -- I used it for a while (about 20 years back) with India Ink before I knew that this could be bad for the pen. I haven't repeated the test, but the pen is still working well.
