I recently obtained a Pilot CL300 for a steal of a price....
I have a converter coming for it, but was wondering is there is any availability of the old style cartridges this pen used...
The pen is in fantastic condition and dip tested smooth as silk.... and the mechanism works as it should.
It had an empty cartridge, but it was brittle and cracked when I was cleaning it out...

Doesn't this take the 60's double ink cartridges? I have a box, which came from an auction in Japan. The ink is still liquid but there seems to be a little evaporation through the plastic. are you planning on refilling? Pilot has not made these in many years. and be forewarned, the standard Pilot converters will not fit if it is the 60's cartridges. It may fit into the holder, but without the skinnier neck, it will leak into your barrel. there is a replacement converter, the CON-W aparently made by pilot but not available from any source in this country other than stan klem on this site.

Stan has converters for this and I bought one from him... hopefully will be here tomorrow....
Yes, it does take the early ink cartridges, according to Stan.... If I can get a cartridge, I would most likely refill it as needed...
