After a break lasting more than two decades, I have recently taken up fountainpen writing again. I started out with a Montblanc Legrand Platinum. Since I soon felt that I liked using a fountainpen as my writing device, I needed a pen that I could take around with me without breaking out a sweat if the pen was suddenly out of sight. I chose a Lamy 2000 after reading reviews in these fora and deciding which pen in that price-class had the highest number of positive reviews. I am very satisfied with it.

I am afraid my first posting here in these fora was easily mistaken for a troll because of the nature of my question and the fact that my information showed that the post was my only post so far (I have been lurking for much longer than that). It is an honest question, however, and I would still like to hear from any members here with an opinion on the subject:

Donīt hesitate to ask me to tell more about myself if this was not enough.

Thank you to the guys maintaining these fora.

(1) Hi from just south of you.
(2) I'll fourth that notion about "more-than-one-forum".
(3) Check out the site of your first post here.

Welcome and do tell us (if you don't mind) what the zero buttons mean!

Itīs the first time in all the years I have been using that name on the internet, that I meet an interest in my alias. It stems from a time when I was favoring designs on hifi equipment and the like, without any pushbuttons or switches. Thatīs it.

Thank you to all for your welcoming posts.

Welcome to FPN.

Again, thank you to the last two for welcoming me. Which pen is that in your signature, fatehbajwa?

Hello and welcome to FPN.

Hello and welcome to FPN. Kick off your shoes and have a stroll around the grounds. There is lots of good information as well as people willing to share information. Heck you might even pick up a pen or two at the Marketplace.

Once again welcome.
