Newbie here...

My first researched purchase was the Sailor 1911M extra fine, and I love it.

BUT!

I just found out about the Platinum ultra extra fine nib... I can't seem to find any substantial reviews of this nib; can anyone shed some light on it? Is it like the Sailor Saibi Togi nib, or is it a different animal altogether?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The Saibi Togi is essentially an XXF (Extra Extra Fine or Account) nib, so it is similar to a Platinum Ultra Extra Fine, or a Nakaya Super Extra Fine.

I have to say that i found the saibi togi quite similar to the extrafine by nakaya.
I'll receive a piccolo heki tamenuri fitted with a superextrafine nib nakaya, so i can tell you the difference...

I test drove the Saibi Togi nib at the DC Pen Supershow and have to say it's more like an XF than XXF. Still, a very nice nib with super smooth action. I've got this nib on my wish list. smile.gif

Stego, Phthalo already beat you to it...not only did she write the constitution on a stamp, she managed to fit a couple of chapters of War & Peace around the edges! smile.gif

Glad to see another micro-nib fan around here!
