Out of absolutely nowhere, I have started to become interested in Conway Stewart pens. I know next to nothing about them, and there is no store in my area that carries them. Here's my big question du jour: Are they the lighter sort of pen (think Pelikan or Pilot), or are they the heavier sort of pen (think Waterman's brass body pens or Dupont)?

Light and heavy. richardspens.com has weights for most CS pens. Heavier ones are silver. Mary Burke has info for pens on more spendy end. Also got lots of info from FPN member girlieg33k cos she collects them. Even sent pens to Canada for me and the missus to try. Got to try beautiful silver overlays called Simpole and Centenary [both heavy] but way out of our price range. Ended up with a Nelson [heavy] and my better half got a Duro [light]. Was nice to try before buying.
