I'm looking for a Parker 51, aerometric, f/xf nib, in blue (I'll entertain other color options as well) Cap type unimportant. Not looking for a museum piece but it should be sound and free from significant blemishes and dings. TIA

Bummer, if you wanted a P51-vac, I could hook you up.

A working vaqc might be ok. I actually had two before, both blue cedar, but they would splatter drops of ink when I held them and turned pages of my grade book with the same hand. I thought I'd try an aerometric to see if that would be different . Unfortunately I don't think the aero's come in that color. (I really like the blue cedar). If the vac doesn't splatter like the other smaybe we could talk...smile.gif

Hmm... mine doesn't splatter. And it happens to be a Cedar. It's from my own collection and the only reason I'm selling it is because I dropped some big bills on a grail pen. smile.gif
Let me know if you're interested, I could send you a couple pic's. Be forewarned, though, my picture taking skills are very mediocre; but you'll see the pen good enough. smile.gif

What might you be thinking pricewise on the cedar 51?
