I am looking at trying the Falcon nib and there is $100 diff bet. these two pens (each w/ the FA nib) on the Ujuku site. Why? What makes that diff.?

Also is the Falcon nib that great? Thanks. - M.

The main difference is the nib size. The 743has a no15 nib whereas the 742 has a no10 nib. The cap is a bit larger in the 732 to accommodate the larger nib. Is it worth the money? Probably not... but then again, I would get the 743.

Thanks. That's v. helpful. $100 is a lot I think for a nib.

Old thread, I know, but...

So does the larger nib provide more flex than the smaller nib?
Dr.Grace
The #15 is not a flex nib, though a little springy. For any flex, you need an FA.

Oh okay. Then, I mean is there a difference between the 742's Falcon nib and 743's? Since the 743's is going to be larger than the 742, wouldn't that also mean more flex?
