I just picked up a pen on eBay. I know it's a Waterman, but it was made in Italy, and I don't know what model it is. Any help will be appreciated. Pix and more info on my blog:

The link is to my blog entry, not to a picture. But hey, I'm easy, here are zoomed versions of the pix.

Since I own one of these pens, I would also like to know the answer to that question.

I wouldn't have a problem admitting that this is a Waterman, except for the "Made in Italy" stamped on the barrel. When I spoke directly with Waterman, the representative said that Waterman fountain pens were only made in England, Canada, France, and the U.S. She assured me that Waterman pens were never made in Italy. It also has "Watermans" on the clip rather than Waterman, although this would simply suggest an older rather than a newer pen. I've been speaking with Richard on email about this pen for a while now, but it has me stumped (not that this is all that difficult!!) It is even more odd that it takes the C/F cartridge and has a real Bock steel nib. Please Please Please! Someone needs to solve this mystery. crybaby.gif

Could be something assembled under licence in Italy to avoid import duty etc. Looks alittle like othe Italian pens of the 50's/60's e.g Columbus, Elmo-Montegrappa etc
