Hi there! I'm Nathaniel and am excited to see that I'm really not alone in the world of fountain pen fanatics! Until a little while ago, I was in Montana and South Dakota and convinced I was one of the only people who still loved using and restoring vintage fountain pens. It wasn't until I met Don Lavin in Chicago by chance that I was introduced to a whole new world of pen lovers.

I got hooked when I was 9; my grandma gave me my late grandfather's Sheaffer Lifetime. I've been using it ever since. And naturally I got into Parker, Cross and many other pens along the way. I've been restoring lever-fillers, button-fillers, Vacs and Touchdowns for years.

Last year, I started my own online pen shop: ThePenMarket.com. Please check it out and tell me what you think. I offer fully restored pens, a repair service and a trading post for others to sell their pens, ink wells, etc.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the site. After meeting some of the people in the pen community, I sometimes feel like a total rookie when it comes to pens, too. But it's always fun to learn more!

I love those late 1920s' Sheaffer Lifetimes. It's my favorite nib to write with. Always smooth, firm and effortlessly fluid. I understand about never having enough money for pens, too. Regardless, I'm open to an offer, if you have one to make--one FPN noob to another.
