I thought this was such a beautiful pen. I'm glad I won it last night on the flea-bay for $31.
One kind member (Kelly G) is already hooking me up with a couple #16 sacs....

Looks good: with a workhorse 2668! Beats a Gregg or a 2556.

Cool... I'm just learning about Esterbrooks. How are the Venus nibs?

And thanks dhlr14454.....

You will like the nib. I consider it the all purpose nib and and it is for "General Writing" per the chart. I have 3 and they all flow very well after they got a good cleaning.

Hi Event Horizon....

Well, you were right.. fantastic nib.... buttery smooth and an almost perfect line.. as long as I'm on the sweet spot. What a difference between the sweet spot and the rest of the nib... between light and day..... I'm getting use to writting on this nibs sweet spot, but it's not where I normally write. I may have to buy another 2668 and develop my own sweet spot....

I am currently getting used to a 2556 (Fine Writing) nib and it to has a sweet spot a little off angle from how I normaly hold a pen. Not much but a little.
