Chech out my signature in the avatar, the only scan I got before the scanner fuzzed.
<--------------
I made this mix of maybe a 10:1 or so of red Skrip and black Quink. Not sure of the exact ratio, but a few drops of the black into a cart-ful of the red.
This was in actually an experiment to see what type of shading I can get from dark hues in the fine-nibbed Pelikan.
Whaddya think?

Quite pretty. Grape purple. Seems to shade nicely.
I LIKE it!

Very nice shading on that ink. Cool signature also.

I am on a quest for the perfect balance between dramatic shading and looking washed out. I am leaning towards dark hues for this (except black). Browns, purples, dark reds, they are all on my list.
I think the shading is due to using two "thinner" inks, Skrip and Quink.
