Just looking for some feedback about his one. Suspect it is pretty standard Visconti. High vac filler with the standard Bock nib.

I lucked into this one (apparently an LE) on a trade. The pen is outstanding all around. I like the filler and it works like a charm. Great pen to fly with. The nib is very smooth and delivers a steady flow of ink that I'd call generous without being really wet.The nib is springy and gives pretty good line variation. It is a large pen as can be seen in the pictures. That is a Pericles , then a Voyager Club, next to the Demonstrator. For it's size, I find the pen light and comfortable and usable for long sessions.

Don't know if you have seen this site, here's a link just in case...

Since you had the link to the Empire Clear Demo I had to take the opportunity to show this one. The demo is very similar to the Empire Demo except the cap tassie and the number of pens made. My demo is #3 of the 4 that were made. My 9 year old daughter is absolutely amazed that there are only 4 pens like this in the world. Guess that I am sorta amazed myself.

I'm curious about the filler on your demonstrator. It looks like a modern version of the classic "plunger-filler" patented by Sheaffer in 1933 and 1934. A properly restored one is the most efficient filling system I've seen. I imagine that the Visconti with modern technology must hold an amazing of ink for the actual size of the pen. How do you like the filling system? In the illustration on Visconti's website, it seems that the piston is composed of an o-ring around a cylinder as opposed to Sheaffer's flexible washer.
