So far the only place I can find it -in stores and online- is swisher pens. Is there anywhere else? I couldn't even find any on eBay...

Container Store sells Amodex, for fairly cheap, as well as Rhodia pads and Clairefontaine notebooks. I think Hobby Lobby also sells Amodex. Don't know if either of those is near you. Paradise Pens also sells Amodex in the store, don't know about online.

Isellpens sells the Pelikan Super-Pirate Eradicator.

I'm guessing you are looking for something like the old-fashioned Carter's Ink Eradicator kit. That product is no longer made, and it isn't even common on eBay.

Amodex is a soap, meant for use on fabrics and things that can be washed. If you're trying to get ink out of clothing or off of a washable surface, this is the one to use. The Pelikan Super-Pirate is only effective 100% on Pelikan Royal Blue ink; it might work on other inks and other colors, but there's no guarantee.

If you are trying to remove ink from paper, and if it isn't Noodler's bulletproof or the Diamine Registrar's Ink (in either which case you are just out of luck), you can try making up a weak solution of laundry bleach. Make yourself an applicator out of a dishwashing sponge or absorbent cloth, and gently dab at the ink you want to remove. The bleach should take out the ink in a few seconds to a few minutes. Then let the paper dry before you write on it again. Expect feathering when you write over the spot you eradicated.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I forgot to put them up for sale, but I have the Pelikan Super-pirat eradicators available (a whole case of them so I should have enough to go around). Just PM me and let me know how many you want.

Yes, Pelikan carefully says there is no guarantee and rightly so.

In my experience, quite a few of the blue inks labeled "washable" can be eradicated by the Pelikan Super-Pirat, including those from Waterman (Florida Blue), Montblanc, Aurora, Parker Quink, Lamy, Pelikan (old and new Royal Blues), and the old and new Sheaffer Skrip. I can't guarantee these results, for some of the same reasons Pelikan can't. tongue.gif

Not by mere coincidence, those same blue inks are vulnerable to being made to fade over the years by the sulfur in most paper. Aurora Blue is probably (unscientific statement) the slowest of them to fade because it is more saturated.
