Hey guys,
Are the nib sections from the older C/C Sheaffer Imperials interchangeable with the newer models made during the 1990's?

Plus some of them are real gold. I just created a frankenpen, which I truly do plan to annotate, matching a Deluxe Imperial with a solid gold nib from an earlier pen. Very nice. Steve
