Oh did I have fun at the DC show this past weekend. I have been busy at work and haven't been able to get pictures taken, but I hope to this weekend. But, I was able to aquire a Charles Dickens and the JP Morgan. The Morgan is quite a heavy pen, but the cap is very masculine and really beautiful.

My little collection of MB's is really starting to grow. It now consists of the following fountain pens:

146 Meisterstuck circa 1987
149 Meisterstuck circa 1993
Marquis de Pompadour
JP Morgan
Czar Nikolai
Jules Verne
Marcel Proust
Wm Faulkner
Silver Doue 146
Charles Dickens
Dostoevsky

Can't wait to get my little hands on the next one. That will have to wait until later this fall and I get one of the new David Oscarson Tree of Life Fp's due out in October .

Nice, congratulations on your pens. I like the morgan and at first thought it to be heavy but have gotten very used to it. I usually use it only for mogul type writing. ohmy.gif

Out of curiosity where does one go to find out about upcoming pen shows? I'm about 2.5 hours from DC and would have loved to have attended. Are prices in the same ballpark as ebay, pentrace and FPN?
AndyW
The DC show rightly qualifies as a Supershow. Certainly the largest i the US and probably the world. If you look at FPN under meetings you can find a lot of info about upcoming shows. IMHO only being a few hours away from DC, you really should put it on your calendar. While the prices are often the best of the year, the shear number of exhibitors and the seminars, etc. make this a must visit for collector's.

For some reason my pictures aren't comng out very well so I am only adding the one of the Dickens. As soon as I get the pictures sorted out I'll add others.
