Someone recommend me Noodler's ink but I can't find any shop that sell it,as I know, the nearest place I can find from bangkok is Singapore!

So I just want to know what happen to my FP if I use dutch talens indian ink. If it's clogged,is there any way to fix it?

Regards,

PS:What are differences among indian ink, waterproof Drawing ink and Carbon ink for their properties, usages, etc.?

It commonly NOT ADVISED to use ink that is not suited for FP use. I do not know the pen you had in mind, but there is a seriouse chance your pen gets damaged. I would look for another ink, FP ink that is.

I would second that about only using foutain pen ink and not technical pen ink or Indian ink in a fountain pen. If you need waterproof, I would suggest Noodlers range of inks or Registrar's ink from Diamine. You might have to search the internet to buy them depening on where you live. I have not tried Montblac blue-black but I believe the bottled version labelled "permanent" is pretty waterproof. Noodlers inks labelled "bulletproof" are totally permanent and even the "near-bulletproof" inks are very water-resistant.

You will read that Registrar's ink is very acidic and can damage metal parts of a pen unless gold. Even with regular flushing, this ink may corrode anything that is not gold so either use a cheap and essentially disposable pen or one where no metal parts ever contact the ink apart from the nib, which must be gold and not just gold-plated. I currently use Registrar's ink in an old Waterman lever filler where only the plastic/rubber of the sac, section and feed touch the ink and the nib is gold. Works well and I love the colour change that happens with this ink.

Hope this helps. I would hate to lose work just because of a bit of rain!

Or use MB's blue-black which is slightly iron-galled. Use it continuously or rinse every 3 months.

I just want to add my voice to the cautions. Please do not use India ink in a fountain pen. Only use ink that is specifically for fountain pens. Buying ink by Internet is very common. I live in the U.S. and no one carries any inks I use in any shop close to my home, so I have to buy my inks through the Internet. I get several bottles at a time to make the postage worth while.
