I've got a Nakaya on order and therefore I'm afraid another has to go to make space in for the new arrival!

Up for your consideration is a brand new, dipped only Waterman Exception Day & Night Black FP with one of the smoothest 18kt medium nibs I've tried. This is the larger sized Exception (which I have finally decided to acknowledge as being far too big and heavy for me to use) with matte black stripes on two opposite sides of the barrel. I purchased this pen late last year (~Nov 2007) and dipped it to try out the nib when I first received it. I have not gotten around to inking it, but from the dip test alone, this is a marvelous writer. Naturally, I have all paperwork, inner and outer boxes and the packet of ink cartridges that came with the pen if you need them.

This pen is the flagship of the current Waterman range and makes for a wonderful addition.

Yeah, I guess you are right about the price. Pam has the same pen with gold trim for $300 new. She ordered for me but unfortunately couldn't ship it to me. She might still be having it or get one on order for the same price. Maybe if you try a better price you will see it sell very fast. I have heard they are great pens with a really smooth nib.

Waterman Day & Night FP in my opinion is a fantastic pen. The nib is smooth, the grip is good. It comes with the squarish barrel which makes the pen more interesting than most ordinary round barrel FP. A great pen to consider if you are looking for a good everyday user.

Very tempting, indeed. For awhile, I had my eye on the gold trim version, w/ the longitudinal stripe. If it were one of those, w/ a stub nib, I'd probably be sending my payment ASAP. I do hope you sell it soon, though.
