Somebody really ought to buy that early Parker box. That is most uncommon, to be sure. Great price, if I were a parker collector, I would snag it for sure.

I used to have a really nice display of my pens in a glass case. The original box makes the display of pens really nice.
Too bad I no longer keep the boxes as my pen collection grew and grew to a point I no longer have the space for all my pens.
Come on Lotto!

Biggest mistake I made as a young pen collector (started when I was 22, now 30-years ago) was not buying up as many empty vintage boxes as I could find. Value-wise, they can add up fast, and yes, they can take up a lot of room, but more than that is the fact that it gives you a complete pen...to have the pen, box and hopefully the instruction sheet is more satisfying to me today than years ago (acquire, acquire, acquire...I guess I was in a hurry back then & didn't look at the big picture!). If I only knew back then what I know today...

Cheers!

You're right Rick, kind of a hard box to find, especially in the condition it's in. Only one of the end flaps has partially separated, and that's pretty common, but the advertising, instructions, patent info & the graphics really make this a wonderful box. Think of how many people threw these away after getting a Parker pen as a gift...hurts the brain!

Thanks!
