I am new to this site, so I have NO idea where to begin...since I can't find the 2007 message about DJ Kennedy's pens! I am the proud owner of two of his artistic (and usable!) pens which were created just for my personal interests in 1995. One is a "Baby Poet" ballpoint (with sterling and gemstone) and the other a masterpiece of a long multi-metal (including sterling and gemstone) ink-nib fountain pen. I also have many artistic letters and postcards from both DJ and Julie about their lives in Chester and their travels. I was just going to respond to the person who asked a question about DJ pen owners, and have no idea how to find that member now!

I had typed in DJ's name on Google to see if he is still in Chester. I wrote to him in 2007 and didn't receive any response, so I don't know what he is doing now. I'd like to know how he is and what art form he is pursuing as of 2008! (My pens are signed and dated, of course....)

If s/he is still a member, contact me and I'll answer any questions about his older pens. When I use my Poet Pen, people in line at the grocery store or bank stop me and ask where I bought it. Many would love to own his pens, and I consider my reading a Neiman Marcus catalog in 1995 a rare treat for a lifetime! It began a wonderful few years of communication between us, and I don't admire that many people!

Sorry, I don't know those products but hi nonetheless.
Just hang around and you'll find lots of pens to get a hold of.

DJ is still in Chester as far as I know. Try him at djpens@verizon.net. I know him through our mutual interest in trombones. I purchased a King 2B from him some years back.

Welcome aboard!

I do have a digital camera, and can take a photo of the Lady Poet (I think I called it a Baby Poet initially!) ballpoint. The fountain pen is packed for shipping once my house is sold. I probably can ferret-it-out and photo it as well. Now all I have to do is find the correct carton! Oh: I don't know how to upload a photo on this site!
