I recently got some Racing Green cartridges to try (thanks Jon), and was asked for a comparison with Noodler's Zhivago. Since I was using the MB ink with an italic nib, I used a stub for the Noodler's to keep things comparable. The color of the scan looks quite good to me, but my monitor isn't calibrated. The Sherwood Green sample was included as a standard.
I find the Zhivago to be darker, slightly, even with a drier stub nib. It becomes much darker from a finer nib, as can be seen, and looks nearly black to my eye. For a professional, non-blue or black ink, I think either would be a great choice.
