Any recommendations on either the nib or the restoration?

Really? There is no one here who knows what nib this pen uses or might have one? I would dearly love to get this pen operational...

A Waterman #2 nib is required. I can install it but I don't have one to spare...

I have to agree. When I get my hot little hands on a #2 nib, I hold on to it like the greedy little nib miser I am.

Seriously, I love the #2 nibs - probably my favorite nib with which to write. The ones I own are very flexible and have a great deal of differentiation depending upon the hand pressure. You can find one at nibs.com (not affiliated in any way with this site), but expect to pay between $55 and $75 for one nib.
