Also, if you are interested in bulk gold nibs and have a company quote (from any of the nib manufacturers) that can be beaten in gold content and/or quantity...there is NOS available and other nib resources that are highly competitive to say the least. Just give me a number to beat...and I'll do my best. ;-)

To help with some confusion out there: the price of gold this morning was $790.50 per oz. NOS gold nibs available are all 14K gold. 14/24 = 0.5833 There are 32 nibs per oz.
Thus: $790.50 X 0.5833 / 32 = $14.40 gold content per nib
Nib sale price is $16 each. NO MODERN NIB MANUFACTURER IS EVEN CLOSE TO THAT LEVEL VRS. GOLD CONTENT!!!
Also FYI, only half sold out thus far...so there is more to go. Sheaffer 14K remains at the above quote and quantity per oz.
