Manuel,
I'm assuming the clip is broken off the pen and the Jewel and Trim ring remain? If that is the case, the jewel turns out of the ring in a normal counter clockwise direction.
You'll need a rubber pad of some sort to grip the jewel. I use the ends I trim off of sacs or a jar opener. You don't turn the trim ring, just the jewel.
You may need to apply some heat to loosen the jewel if it has been shellaced in place, some have. 145 degrees is enough - if you get more temperature than that, you risk damaging the pen. Don't use open flame as the pen cap is celluloid which is highly flammable.
There should be a slotted screw under the jewel that you turn out, releasing the trim ring. Be sure to thoroughly clean the threads of the set screw and jewel before installing the new clip. When installing the new clip/ring, slip a drinking straw over the end of the clip to prevent scratching the cap.
Some of these jewels are very difficult to remove and I've had some luck using an ultrasonic cleaner in addition to the heat. I don't immerse the entire cap, just the end with the jewel.
Good luck.
