Full Version: Adjusting P51 ink flow

I replaced the nib on a P51 vac and it works very well. It's my first cursive italic nib and I really like it. However, it is a little too wet to suit my taste. How would I go about reducing ink flow. Or for future reverences, how to increase ink flow.

Thanks

I have exactly the same problem, now you have cleaned the feed theres more ink coming through, I had very limited luck by re-positioning the nib and feed. Shorter the nib less the flow. There must be a better way. I await the experts

The best way is to reduce the tine spacing by removing the nib and crossing one tine over the other until the tine spacing is reduced. Ensure that the tips are still aligned when you are done to be sure that the pen will still write smoothly.

Cheers,
Sean
