I've yet to hear from anybody desperate to sell their 'lava'-finished Rotring 600s, which while confirming my suspicions regarding the model's quality does precious little to put one in my hands! So I think I'll try casting a slightly wider net: if you'd be willing to part with an example of any of the Newton makes, lava finish, knurled grip, or matte black preferred, I'd sure love to hear from you.

Also, might anybody have a spare nib assembly for a Lamy Safari/Joy/etc. lying around? I still have the barrel and cap from my Al-Star and am thinking about reassembling it with an italic nib.
