Hi all you lovers of Japanese FP,

I have recently bought this very fine pen. It is a Pilot --sure-- but I do not know anything about the model or time.

It was NOS in a second hand shop in Tokyo. It is a magnificent writer, and a beautiful piece. Sorry, I think I am in love... blush.gif

As you can see on the pics --excuse the quality--, it has a 18 K gold fine nib. By the way, the ink on the nib is a Pilot blue.

From the engraving on the side of the nib (T376), I understand that the pen was manufactured on March 1976. And the letter, T in this case, usually means the location of the plant. Does anybody know what that T stands for?

Any help will be much appreciated.

I reply to myself to say that this pen has been discussed here

Nevertheless, I leave the post with the hope that someone could help me to know what the T on the nib engraving means.

I believe the T in the datestamp indicates that it was produced at the Tokyo manufacturing plant.
