CAP TOP : The N° 69 was engraved under the Visconti logo. It was necessary to know the use of My Pen System, i.e. the Visconti patent system to customize our pens, to discover it.
--For the life of me I don't see the 69. What do they mean under the logo?

At the top of the cap, there is a Visconti logo on a small metallic disc. This disc can be removed using some magnetic tool and replaced with your initials. So I'm guessing they must have engraved the number 69 under that disc.

Actually, the monogram sections are in the form of a 69, or yin-yang.
Some types of pen have this system on the newer pens, but not on the older ones (eg the WallStreet) They do have a similar logo, but the monograms won't stick.
