I read a post the other day about the J. Herbin ink Eclat De Saphir which said that it was discontinued.

I contacted Exaclair about this and was told this ink is not going to be discontinued, as a mater of fact, it is their best selling ink. It is so popular that they ran out of the ink, which may be why someone thought it was discontinued. Exaclair has received a new shipment of the ink and will be filling their back orders.

Keep your eyes open and watch for it to be available again.

Thank G.
It is one of my ink faves (have only 30 inks or so). In comparison with all of my other blues, it us my absolute fave.
Very bright (but not too light!). Illuminating.
Saturated but nice flow.

I bought it about 3 weeks ago and my store (where I don't work) never told me that it is to be discontinued (which they would have done otherwise. If they had, I'd would have bought out all of their supply.

Thanks for the up-date. I tend to use Bleu Myosotis and Bleu Nuit more than Eclat de Saphir, but I do like knowing the Eclat remains as an option.
