Gonna try it out with water first... if that doesn't leak... then I'm even more happy.
Anyone else have any cute inkpots?

I have a similar one in silver that I bought in '89. It holds a wee bit of ink but it does hold well and has two safety clips.

Nice traveling inkwell! I have an antique one that I've only used once so far -- but it worked to keep my ink from leaking. Is yours to reload a fountain pen or for dip pen writing? Mine is for dip pen writing.

I don't have a camera that will take good close-ups, so I unfortunately can't show this - but I have an old beautiful tiny octagonal travelling inkpot I found in an antique shop in Jodhpur, India. It has a hinged lid but no way to secure it and two small loops so it could be hung from a string.

It's for dipping, but frankly, I'd just empty the pot into a shotglass and fill the pen from there if I have to.

Doesn't that make your tequila taste bad?

It's never going to make it taste worse.

Bravo, Mr. Bitterman!
Tequila... I've heard that everyone has a Tequila Story....
Edit: DO'H! I completely forgot to say how much I like those antique travelling inkpots! They are sahWEEET!

I bought something similar from Rubinato but not for travelling. I'd say for dipping only. But looks neally neat: Click to view attachment
Let's say 1 week. Thus the fast evaportion (even after the lid is always kept down). Duh. That's why I left the dried out ink in it. I think I'll start looking for a silicone cork or something which will fit.

Oh that looks sweet!
I haven't had a chance to try mine yet, been under the weather. But I'll try and do the "Drip-Leak" test over the weekend (with water tho!)
