I just got my conklin nozac sedona back from a sterling repairman who pronounced it unrepairable and suggests "I think Conklin owes you a new pen." So I'm getting
ready to find out where to send it back to them and am wondering if any one has had any experience with their customer service.

Manage them very carefully. Explicit details on your issues and your expectations. Make sure that they give you expected dates, processing times, etc. Take names, numbers, etc. Those are my recommendations.

I had a Mark Twain that was not working. They evaluated it and decided that it was not fixable and sent me a brand new pen in my choice of nibs. My experience with them was outstanding. Things were a bit slow, but in the end I was treated fairly.

I purchased a used new production Glider on ebay a year ago and it caused me nothing but problems. It leaked from all sorts of strange places and was hard to start. Replacing the converter (damaged lip) didn't fix the problem so I finally disassembled the thing and found a cracked ring inside the section that appeared to be causing the leak. I emailed Robert Rosenberg at Conklin, clearly stating that the pen was with its second owner, that it was probably not under warranty and asking what it would cost to repair it. $15.00 and six weeks (to the day) later I have a pen with a repaired section and a brand new converter that writes very well and doesn't stain my fingers. The six weeks is not unreasonable considering that Harold Rosenberg passed away shortly after my pen arrived at the repair facility. I'm a happy customer.
