I'll be on the lookout for a good, lightly used Dupont Fidelio. I bought an OB nib for a Fidelio, just need the pen to go with it now. I'm hoping to find one in DC?
Anyone else have something they're really looking for?

I was going to look closely at Kevin's Danitrio urushi pens, but now I hear he won't be there, so that's out.
I'll be keeping my eyes open for good deals on modern pens that I've passed over previously because of their high prices. Last year I picked up a Dupont Ellipsis for about half of its usual price.
I'll also be looking to be surprised by some of the new modern pens that are unveiled at the show. Last year, Visconti unveiled several new models and new color/trim variations on previously released models. I couldn't resist the black Opera Master with gold trim.

Oh yeah.
I'm looking for a Canteo notebook, Field Notes books, a used red Pelikan F or XF 800 for a good price, and a good fast drying bulletproof brown.

That's a shame! I always look forward to Kevin's table. So many beautiful pens...

Ken had some neat new stuff last year. The Golden Nugget, the black/gold Opera Master, and the Nordic Blue Opera Club. I've seen there are new colors of the Opera Club, so I'll have my eyes out for those....

I think I'm looking for a Waterman Hundred Year Pen, a lucite one, if possible. I'm also looking to buy some required reading for this hobby (the 51, Duofold, Vac books). Other than that just really looking forward to soaking in the pen show experience and hopefully meeting lots of people.

Were I there, I'd be looking for a Nettuno Shark or Trident (in blue) -- and a resin Aurora Optima in Blue. Maybe an Ancora or three.

I ruined my own fun by buying the pen I was looking for (Pelikan 1935 Lapis) ahead of the show. I'm not complaining, though. If an old-style blue Optima catches my eye, then perhaps I'll splurge. Other than that, I'll be stocking up on inks.
Best,

If I were going (maybe next year!), I'd be looking for some good vintage inks that I don't have. I'd also be looking for some good, inexpensive vintage pens that would make good daily users, such as Waterman 3V, 32V, 92V and Skywriters, maybe a Parker "51", some Esties that I don't have or Estie parts... oh, who am I kidding. I'd probably go crazy and break the budget!

I'm going to look for the pens from India - I want a new experience. It's especially important, since the pens look gorgeous, but I want to check out how well they write...

The nice thing about a show as large as the DC show is that you nearly always stumble across some item that YOU WERE NOT LOOKING FOR BUT, HAVING FOUND IT, YOU MUST BUY IT.

That's why I want to wait a year.

We're going to have plenty of room behind the table again. Besides, you'll have Aaron to entertain you this year. That floating gizmo is packed and ready to go. (don't spill the beans Elaine) as is the camera, card reader, and laptop so that we can post lots of pictures.
