I have recently found a 1970s Parker 65 in a drawer, which I was hoping to clean-up and add to my collection.
However the small double-threaded plastic sleeve which screws the barrel to the section(and through which the 'aerometric-type' reservoir is a push-fit) is split 3/4 through (transversely) behind the section end and needs replacement.
Does this sound like something I could handle myself? I don't think there's much else to be done, apart, probably from a bit of a clean-out.
I live in Spain and don't wish to send it to someone who hasn't got/can't get the part, although I'd guess it's not too 'rare`.

And any suggestions as to where I might obtain the part?

Thanks.

Follow the 'Product Overview' link, then at the bottom of that page 'Spare Parts for Vintage Pens', finally select 'Parker 61/65 style connectors'. £4 each.
Can't get you there directly as it uses Java..

Yes, you can do it yourself, it just screws in.

Hope this helps. Regards,

Richard.
