Hi everybody,
I have been using fountain pens off and on through the years. I used a Schaeffer school pen through high school and college.
Lately I have been using some Hero pens I got on FPN, a 200, 200a and 187. They have been quite enjoyable. Also this week I got a Parker 45 off Craigslist for a good price.
I have started journaling, and that is why I have had a renewed interest in fountain pens.
I am also a musician who plays bass in two local bands. One is called Hotel X and we play world jazz fusion. Sort of a cross between Fela Kuti and Sun Ra. I also lead a straight reggae cover band.
Any other musicians here?
My day job is being a stay-at-home dad for two fabulous children that keep me very busy.
I also enjoy keeping goats and chickens on my small farm here in the house my grandfather built in 1939.
thanks
Wayne

Hi there Wayne!
Nice to meet you. And nice to hear that you too are a house-man, and taking care of the animals too.
All best wishes, and not that you spend all of your dough on pens!

Greetings, Wayne. I was born in Richmond and grew up in Roanoke, though I'm now among the Appalachian Diaspora in the Northeast.

Hello and welcome to FPN. Kick off your shoes and have a stroll around the grounds. There is lots of good information as well as people willing to share information. Heck you might even pick up a pen or two at the Marketplace.
Once again welcome.
