My favorite Sheaffer to write with is a Legacy with a stub nib. Unfortunately, after many fills at night, when I open the pen in the morning I found a line of ink has leaked onto the surface of the nib and inside the cap.
I have spent a fair amount of time cleaning and drying both the nib as well as washing and drying the cap repeatedly but, every time I refill the pen and start another week, it takes about 2 days for some ink to reaccumulate and start messing up my inlaid nib. I should note that after washing the cap that I allow it to dry for as long as a week before refilling the pen.
Any ideas on a reason and (more importantly) a fix?
