SOLD - Thank you Judy!

For Sale: A "Late Transitional" J Esterbrook, copper colored, with 2668 (medium - general writing) nib. RESTORED

The late transitional J's have a round jewel on the cap, a flat end on the body, and a clip marked Esterbrook. They predate the double jeweled J series.

This pen had a hard first life; recovered from a toolbox and covered with small scars. It has been completely reworked: a new sac has been installed, it has been cleaned, buffed, polished, and tested. I'm selling it for less than my other restorations because it doesn't quite meet my standard of "like new". Its only problems are very minor blemishes (barely noticable) - all furnishings are in excellent condition, the jewel is complete and undamaged, the pen has no splits or cracks and it writes like a dream. After its first life, it deserves a loving home.

Asking $35 (includes Priority Mail shipping within the USA).

Thanks for looking!

What a lucky girl you are Judy! You are going to be a very happy camper!

Todd's pics usually don't do his amazing work justice. I wish he had taken
a couple of this one pen BEFORE he waved his magic wand over it. You
probably wouldn't have believed it was the same pen.

This pen arrived in the mail today, and WOW! What a beauty! I can't see a blemish or scratch anywhere. It looks perfect, and it's a smooth writer, too. I'm soooo glad to have it. wub.gif
